Mt. Tabor was an early settlement of about 12 houses, it's main purpose was to supply oak and hickory wood to fire a brick factory. The church located east of the cemetery was torn down about 1900. Before the road was straightened and years later turned to gravel. There are a lot of un marked graves in this cemetery.
